I understand the security implications of not logging users out automatically but at least give some "read only" access to images/prices realized/etc. and require a re-authentication only when making a bid. The need to constantly log in is my biggest gripe with HA and what is otherwise a great platform. >>

We have recently added a feature to the site where once you log in, you can see images and prices for 24 hours, even if you are logged out. More sensitive features such as the MyHeritage features (MyBids, MyConsignments, etc.) and bidding will still require you to log in.
