Must have missed the original discussion. Which one are you referring to? The BIN looks like a label swap (or damaged case and weak 10), the auction looks like a fake.

The label, slab, and card are all creations of the scumbag in Mexico that's been scamming people for years.

PSA announced a new slab would be going into production soon.

Why has it taken PSA so long to make a better slab.

I just noticed that two different listings were referenced in the post. I'm not sure if mnmiracle's is a fake but I'm positive the other one is.

I wasn't sure on that one either, but something looked fishy with the top right of that slab and with the OPC cut all down the left, I didn't see it being a 10.

Just curious how can you tell this is fake? Maybe I'm blind to something but with the psa case and all what makes u think its fake? I buy a lot of psa cards is there anyway to pick them out... Are there lots of them out there?
    Thanks

I am curious as to how some know that the PSA slab is "fake" in the auction link. It looks fine to my older eyes.

The BIN looks fine. I've gotten slabs directly from PSA that have corner issues like that.

In the auction, the slab looks like it's been tampered with.

There's a scammer operating out of Mexico that creates slabs, flips, and Jordans. He also trims legitimate cards and puts them in fake slabs. It's a pretty good operation he has going. Zoom in on the font that spells "Michael Jordan" on the front. Compare each letter to what you know is a legitimate Jordan and you'll be able to find some differences. The R in Jordan always stands out the most. The edges of the fakes are also much more smooth than the legitimate cards and the shade of the yellow border is off. The flips and slabs are copied so well it's almost impossible to tell.
