    i've really tried to keep an open mind. those auctions for the wacked-out proof errors don't really bother me, nor do the asking prices.

    the bottom line for me in all this is very simple.

    kincoin, please explain why you are the "KING OF COINS" as you have stated multiple times, and then explain how this became so.

    i have a feeling your answer to this question will probably give us all terrific insight into how you feel about your coins.

    guys, please no add'l slams & such until we give the guy a chance to answer that question.

    I understand. YOU can never be KING then. It goes like this. Before I purchased the coins I searched days and days hours upon hours on the Internet looking for others like them. This told me there must be very few of them out there right? So I bought eight of them knowing these may be the only eight out there. In the past six months I have been searching high and low for other ones like them but have only seen two others. One of them just sold for $275.00 on e bay. I feel that person who sold it made a bad mistake. Any proof error nowadays will fetch high premiums since Quality control is catching these errors before they make it out. However, Uncle sam is derelect in his duties sometimes and lets them slip by. His mistake is my advantage. This is how I have risen to KINGCOIN status.

    ok, just wanna get this straight, are we to understand that the following are required to become KING OF COINS:

    (1) find a rare proof coin w/ any kind of mint-made damage
    (2) search for days and days hours upon hours on the Internet looking for others like them
    (3) buy all the ones you find (in your case 8 of them)

    if within 6 months, you only seen two others, then you are the KING OF COINS?

    Kingcoin is happy to collect coins. And KINGCOIN sells coins at resonable price. There will never be another KING to replace KINGCOIN unless the KING of KINGS wants this title of course. Then I shall reliquish it to him.

    We could all probably learn something from KINCOIN. He probably has a wealth of knowledge about proof coins with die breaks. Perhaps, he's the Condor of proof die breaks?
