got 2 Overgr.. I mean Accugrade coins..CLASH of the Titans!

Both off the Bay...About $63 each shipped. They are both lucky to be a true 64 but there is some serious obverse clashing on Liberty's face and neck (Both Coins!)...and clashing on reverse (same on both coins but one has something going on with the tailfeather fields surrounding).

COIN#1

COIN#2

I may have missed a picture, but both reverse's have the wing clash... My guess is 44a and 44b but I really have no clue. I bought them just for the old-school slab and a shot at an overlooked VAM.

Any thoughts???

Erik

Absolutely correct my friend...but the closest one I could find was not an exact match. I'm not very good at determining die life and so on. All in all, these little overgraded puppies are staying in their kennel. I do not plan to crack, but rather keep an example of early plastic coffins (undergraded or overgraded). The only thing that cannot change these coins is leaving them be ;-)

Cannot quite say nice pickup at the price you paid but neat die clashes. Cool that you are doing the vam deal too as you begin to appreciate the suble differences in varieties. Which is a degree of collecting that most people never achieve. Kudos.

Nice close up photos, are they the sellers photos or did you take them?

The clash on the mouth is pretty interesting, kinda vampire like.

As has been said here many times before, treat coins in third world slabs as being raw.

Don't know about "undergraded", but those clashes are pretty neat image

Yeah, but when it comes to ACG coins be careful how you critique them in public as you could be the next guy involved in a lawsuit.

And while your coins could be 64's, it will cost you $20-$30 per coin to find out....unless you have enough pieces for a $12-$13/coin bulk submission.
