I am happy to announce that we now have a PCGS CoinFacts mobile application.

Mobile Announcement

I've had a beta version of this for some time now. I use it all the time and find it indispensable when buying a new coin or just looking up information. One of the coolest features is the ability to scan the barcode on the holder and skip all the typing. It's fast and easy to use. It's free to any current CoinFacts subscriber and is available for $2.99 for a 7 day subscription or $9.99 for 30 days.

    Looks like a cool app... bummer that it's for apple only right now even though many more folks use android...

    Please let us know when the rest of us can use this image

    I discovered this the night before a show this weekend. Worked great at the show. It was especially cool that the barcode scanner works for not only PCGS, but also NGC and old white ANACS holders.(I haven't tried it on any other types of holders)

    I have a Windows Phone (which, I personally enjoy and won't replace) so it sounds like I won't get the app at all.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    When is PCGS/CoinFacts going to start listing BN and RB Proof Lincoln Cents from 1952 through 2011 ?

    That's a huge omission in one of the most popular series for coin-collecting ever.

    CoinFacts has BN and RB Proof Lincoln Cents listed up through the year 1952 and for the last 2 years 2012-2013 -- but CoinFacts has that HUGE gap in the middle (gap years 1952-2011) where only RD's are listed. You guys are missing out on some real visual eye candy in the color realm -- and instead opted to show RD's only (which basically all look exactly the same).

    Can you take pictures of PCGS graded coins and have the app scan them and display the coin information to include population, price, and a button to add to your registry set? If you get that working, you'll have a winning app.

    All you need to do is scan the barcode underneath the coin and you have all this.

    was curious as a shareholder. A few years back the old CEO used to mention every quarter how many paying CoinFacts subscribers there was. Last I heard it was in the 3k-4k area. That info is old now. Any update on that you could share? It might be harder to calculate now that Diamond Level includes CoinFacts.
