1787 Connecticut Copper, CONNECT variety, Miller 15-F, ex. Will Neil, B. Max Mehl 6/17/1947, lot 3134

From the same sale as the now legendary Neil-Carter-Contursi-Cardinal 1794 $1, this humble colonial realized a rather robust $4.20 in the Neil sale, the same amount as a proof Barber Half in that sale, for example.
