Coin Facts

AuroraBorealisAuroraBorealis Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭✭✭
Was strolling through coin facts and found this one of mine... I have owned it several years now and have posted it quite a few times on here from old images that I had taken that weren`t very good... Now to see it like this trueviewed and the other high res pics in coin facts was a treat... Obviously prior to me owning it...
Anyone else discover any of their stuff after the fact? If so would love to see your discoveries...

Yes. I was surprised to see my coin on the Morgan VAMWorld website. I did not put it there.

I found this one while considering buying the coin. It was listed as the top pop.

Is there any premium for this VAM? ...I have one of these same coins in an old PCGS Rattler.

    LOVELY DBHE Wayne! image

Two of my Franklin proof cameo halves (from two VERY tough dates; 1950, 1959) turned out to be Plate coins; numbers 3 and 46, for Tomaska's first book on proof coinage from the 1950 - 1970 era. While I do have pix of them, I'll post a pic from Coin Facts instead. I noticed this pic after I won the coin at auction. It is a True View pic, but I've chopped it in half.

I love all of the coins posted so far in this thread, but that 1799 dollar really has the look.

Thank you AB. It's hard for me to get a nice photo of this coin so I just use the PCGS photo for now. CAC gave it a green sticker.

That 1799 is BAD TO THE BONE....image
