I've never owned a really cool...

Buffalo Nickel. Not sure why, I really like the design. Also an early turbin-head gold piece, but there's a better reason for that!
What have you never owned that surprises you? Or more significantly, what are you going to do about it?

As much as I like Bust Quarters, I've never owned a Draped Bust Quarter.
I've also never owned any Proof coins prior to 1956. Always wanted a Proof Walker but have just never pulled the trigger.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
<< <i>A really nicely toned Proof Buffalo Nick would do you just right. >>
Ya I've got the 36 & 37's on my list

This was me always wanting an older Proof, preferably 1800's. Finally won a 1901 Proof IHC. Couldn't be happier.
Just like you Billet7, so many really cool coins I'd like... including a great Buffalo Nickel.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
<< <i>A chain cent, allways wanted one but the only one I could afford is aworn out slick which would negate the reason to have one. >>
+1
<< <i>I passed up a beautiful 1793 Half Cent for $10K today. It was raw. Oh, how I pondered it. Then, I said to the dealer/friend, "I've never owned a really cool..." >>
I've done the exact same thing, VF25, very nice. I'll have to just deal with the one I've got, even at a much lower grade.
<< <i>A lg. diameter capped bust dime (1809-1828). >>
You should get one, they're AWESOME! (But wait until I've finished my set
Feel like there are better coins out there for the money.

How's that for bizzare? I'm putting together a US Type set too. For some reason I've been putting off the early copper. Seems like a whole different game.
I've never had a pre-1834 US gold coin, but that's likely to remain the case for quite some time.
On the metal detecting front, I've never found a Washington quarter from the 1930s. For some reason, that decade has eluded me, though friends have dug them right next to me several times.
And on the Darkside front, I've never owned an ancient Athenian "Owl" tetradrachm, though I've admired them since I was a kid. That is a coin I could have afforded to buy at times, but my tastes there outclass my budget. I don't want to buy one of those until I find a really nice one. And I can't afford a really nice one.
The only Buffalo Nickels I've owned were the three legged variety. If you're only going to own one, the three leggers are always cool.

Twenty Cent Piece.
Not sure why I have never bought an example of each.

Not doing anything about it because I can't afford it.
