What MidLifecrises wrote- take him to a coin store and let he see what there is to see

I don't believe he was actually able to sign his own name.

Correct. He drew his autograph based on a slip of paper - he would copy it slowly. Geronimo also drew his name when he appeared at the World's Fair, having no concept of what our alphabet was.

I would tell him that in spite of his faults that Lance still kicked cancer's butt even after it had spread and the charity he founded raised millions to help others. Hero? No, badass, yes.

So, Ankur, what DID you tell your nephew?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Nothing yet. Won't see him until tomorrow. But will use a mixture of suggestions, and will replace the coin with a Jackie Robinson and eventually the new baseball commem.

    Timely thread.

I just this week stashed away a little memento of mine from the 2001 MLB All Star Game which I no longer have any desire to display.
