Did i do good or did i pay to much???

Well since I didnt get one at the real auction I went to today . As a matter of fact I didnt get squat there way to rich for my blood. All the money I was going to spend at the real auction I have to find something else to spend it on. Here is something I got on EBAY and nobody sniped me .

At the auction they had a whole set of AU or better slabbed IHC sold by the piece the 1877 went for 2200$. This auction was heavy on the key coin side and they were all slabbed anacs and pcgs. The only thing I bought there was a large Pepsi. The auctioneer came up to me and asked why I didnt get anything and I told him I was to poor and he laughed( I have been dealing with this auctioneer for 2.5 years now so he know me very well)

    Nice coin! Althogh a small scan, if it were really marked, I think they would show up- could be a higer grade image

    Nice looking coin...tough to tell from a scan that size but seems to be at least a 64 with serious claims to a higher grade. You'll have to let the baord know what it looks like in person.

    I wouldn't want to guess on whether it's an MS64 or not (that's one reason I buy mine already in plastic, LOL). However, it certainly looks to me like it should meet that standard, if not better, from what I can tell from the picture. Nice coin. Hard to beat at the price, I reckon. I'd say you did pretty well.

    if you are coin collector and it fits in your collection and you are happy with the coin and the price, you made a good buy, if i may make a suggestion look for coins already graded by pcgs or ngc common years you can find at bargain prices already holdered just as long as you dont have the I Wants. be prepared to wait longer but good things come to those who wait.......it will take longer to build your coin collection but in the end you will end up with a nice collection of coins and you wont ever have to ask if you got the right grade on a coin ..one more note if you buy ngc always deduct at least 1 point off the holer grade that is my opion a lot will agree and some will disagree.... you live and learn

    Well, you probably paid about $0.50 too much for your large Pepsi. Unless it helped keep you from raising your hand, then it was a bargain. image
