One problem I noticed quickly...if there are 100 $1 coins... The starting bid is higher than $93.05 ...since it is $6.95 for shipping. image

OK, I'm the idiot this time image

    1) I recently downloaded the Coinflation iPhone App onto my phone. It's a "live melt value calculator." Thought I'd give it a whirl on eBay …

    2) Saw these Ikes, pulled out my phone, opened the app and here's where I went wrong … I pulled up the 40% silver Ikes because hey, I'm a darksider, and I forgot that only the collectible Ikes were 40%, and that the circulation strikes were Cu-Ni imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

    3) Since I was operating on the premise these Ikes were 40%'ers, I figured the melt value at $711. That was the first "error" that I was questioning (why no bids if the melt is $582 more than the starting price?) imageimageimageimageimage

    4) But this was my biggest fail: the Coinflation app only shows Ikes from 1971-1976 on the 40% page. Instead of saying to myself "gee, what about the '77s and '78s" I thought to myself "oh that guy is advertising Ikes from '71-'78 but they were only made from '71-'76. imageimageimage

Well, the obvious error is saying that 1971 is "old." image
Let's try not to get upset.

    Oooops!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
