Jefferson Nickels post 2003????

Is there ANY value in any of the Jefferson nickels [in bank wrapped rolls] from 2004, 2005 or 2006? IIRC there was one year when very few if any of the P minted coins were available as bank wrapped rolls.

Yes, and I think the mint rolls would be better to hold than the bank wrapped rolls.

I don't have any mint wrapped rolls, just the bank wrapped ones. Just wonder if they have any value above face. If they don't I'll just deposit them.

Yea, I have a closet full of those things. Mint & bank wrapped. The '04-P Peace Medal bank rolls were bringing a premium at one time as folks were searching for the DDO. Also the Peace Medal mint wraps were a quick sellout that also once brought a nice premium. Don't know if there is still any premium on those now or not . . . Prolly not ! ! ! image
I've been considering going thru mine - saving an H/T roll set or 2 and opening the rest saving some better looking singles for maybe a nice set or 2, then depositing what's left.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

I have a few 2005 to 2010, 20+ bank rolls. Paid a quarter or 50 cents extra per. I bought them because the end coins were toned. But your best coins will come from the mint sets since roll coins made to enter circulation came from the same dies. Only the razor sharp, carefully handled, higher hammered early strikes that were made from the same dies when they were brand spanking new are the better coins..........for all the series for that satin era. image

Mint sets after 2004 were the Satan finish so rolls were the only way to get business strikes until what was it 2011 or 2012, can't remember off hand.
