Were these Silver Bars given out/sold at KFC?

I bought these little 1/4 oz silver bars at a local bid board a month or so ago because I thought they were neat. When I got home and looked at them closely, I saw what appeared to be an image of the Colonel. So, I started trying to research, and as you can imagine, typing KFC, Colonel Sanders, or anything with the words silver bar in them brings up alot of results. But after a few weeks, and bing and google burnout, I figured I would post and see if anyone here remembers this. They are dated 1981 and since that would only be 22yrs after Alaska became a State, I am going to assume these were part of some larger marketing deal? Maybe all the states? Maybe something else. Any help is appreciated, and sorry if the pics are too big.

Edit - Nah, I guess that's the Col.

Ha, the design is on each bar, not the flips. Thanks, I posted it in the Precious Metals forum, and someone suggested that it was the Late Jay Hammond, ex Governor of Alaska. I checked into that a bit, but it still really looks like the Colonel to me.

Now that you posted these, I'm sure it's the Colonel. The design on the bars has glasses, and that trademark bowtie. I'll post a close up later.
