    1. Cannot tell luster from pic so I guess 55 based on meat left to her wings
    2. 40 based on hair and wings also.

As many say NMS (not my series) but my first impression was AU55 for the first one with an outside shot at 58 and a solid 40 for the 2nd one FYIW!!

the top one im betting looks better in hand, so im gonna say somewhere between 55-58, maybe better. luster looks uniform but again the pictures tell only half the story, bottom one looks like a 45 to me, evident wear on the high points, with luster in the deepest crevices, and tone appears unbroken

No way that top one is 45. Cross that sucker to the right plastic image

The bottom one being AU50 I can understand.

    And nice coins, btw

I would of guessed the grades were reversed. The second being XF45 and the top one being AU50 or a tad better.
No doubt the buy the coin not the holder adage applies to the top example , recent holder as well it sure seems to be a Conservative grade.

I think the ANACS coin is understandable, at least from those images. The coin looks dipped more than a few times, and the surfaces are burned out.
That's paired with hairlines in the surfaces that are hinted in the images and are undoubtedly more prevalent in hand.
You will be very fortunate if PCGS grants it a net grade of a 45 or 50 rather than just calling it flatout cleaned.

50 and 40 was my guess.

    Very interesting results.
I would rather own the bottom one regardless, just based on the look, but would always call it XF.

A perfect example of why grading from pics is impossibleimage

I would have had them reversed. Fortunately, it's not difficult to free the one coin from the ANACS Quick-Release holder and make it right.

I would have inverted the grades. The top coin is nice in my opinion.
