Probably a 3.something (i.e. mule between the white insert reverse and the newer gray/green insert). The 2.somethings have an all-white insert.

Shot with a bit of tilt, the cheek is that of a 3 and nothing more. The reverse is clean as a 5 IMO, nothing really is hidden.

If the slab has the embossed gold logo, then it's an NGC 3 - used from late 1987 to late 1989.

If the slab has the full-width hologram, then it's an NGC 4 - used from late 1989 to 1992.

The holder is gold embossed on the outside, thanks for the input, 3.0 it is. Guess what I like most about old holders is, the coin has been in the same state for 20 plus years.
