I am happy to say that my dad and I are the proud owners of the FIRST PCGS graded MS67RB Inidan Cent. Thanks to PCGS and their Reconsideration Service for getting this one right. This coin finally earned the grade it has always deserved!

lcoopie......I agree for some reason the 67 looks better than the 66 on Coinsfacts
Seth Chandler.....The coin was our purchased 4 years ago at the spring Baltimore Show off a dealer on a Saturday afternoon. I don't know the history of the storage of the coin. It was in a PCGS holder when I purchased it. The coin is unique becasue it is a RB but if you look at the surfaces (and forget about the color) the surfaces and luster are similar to a 100% Red coin. The Truview picture is AMAZING but it does not show the coins true luster. IMO the luster on this coins is blazing like a MS67 RED IHC.

Those were my exact words. The coin turned ever so slightly RB but didn't mellow at all. The luster is amazing on this one.

The reconsideration service seems to be a stroke of genius for PCGS and good for the hobby. Collectors sure seem happy with it. This is about the 3rd or 4th great example.

Near $28.5K, I like the sound of that!!! It's the first one graded by PCGS is 28 years, no clue on how to value it.

Collect what you love, read everything about your series, look at as many coins as possible, have mentor like relationships with other collectors and specialist dealers. All this leads to the ability to snag the right coin when the opportunity arises. Did I say right coin? Did I say right coin?
The right coins ALWAYS get rewarded on whatever grading scale exists at the present time. Collectors can hold and get rewarded with each grading cycle.
