Those bat display cases look fantastic. Great idea for anyone who has bats they could display.

I can totally relate to the "family room" concept. My wife, daughter and I collect together, and we moved our home office over the Christmas holidays. One of us is almost always in here, and if I don't get here quick, I don't get a seat!

Looks like you have quite a collection of cut signatures, balls and bats. Would you mind sharing some more detail on your collection?

Rich, thanks for the kind words. I'm obviously a Yankees fan primarily but have season tickets to the Braves and live only about an hour and a half from Turner Field so we go see a ton of Braves games - hence all the Braves stuff. As far as the autographed baseballs, I am working on a collection of autographed balls of all the 500 home run club and that's been fun. Am missing a few (including the big 3 of Ruth, Foxx and Ott) but it's been a fun chase. Also picking up autographed balls from Hall of Famers in general when I can - Stan Musial, Yogi, etc. Have autographed balls of most of the Braves greats and current stars and have alot of old time Yankees auto'd balls - Bob Turley (who shares my last name but no connection I know of), Joe Pepitone, etc. Kind of eclectic on the bats - have game used bats of Bo Jackson with the Royals, Pudge Rodriguez with the Marlins, Andruw Jones with the Braves, Alex Rodriguez (batting practice used) with the Rangers, and Raul Mondesi from when he was a Brave. The other bats in the cases include a 1999 Yankees team autographed bat and a Don Mattingly single signed autographed bat as well as a Josh Hamilton signed bat. In one of the pictures there is a pair of cleats which were worn by Tommy Byrne in the 1956 World Series. Again, I have a really eclectic collection but it's been fun. Thanks for asking.

I have a 1979 coaches jersey of Berra's with the Munson memorial black arm band, a Yankees hat of Berra's from when he was coaching, and quite a few Yogi auto'd items. For Munson, about all I have is a early 70's Yankees team ball with a Munson signature. And the obligatory Munson unopened packs that were brought about by the frenzy that folks on this board stir up about unopened! >>

topps actually added 6 more to the bretts today. i wonder how far they will go back and if they will be limited like the 1990 topps print run. Im kidding but i would love to have 1975-1979 over 1981-1990.
