Another 1/2 cent coming into the collection
So, the boy and I (mainly me at this point as the boy is quite busy with sports and school work) have an Everyman's Registry Set for Half-cents.
As with most things numismatic, I got into it backwards and got the "easy" ones first
That said, we are down to just needing: 1794, 1796 (yeah, right!), 1797 (want the 1 over 1), 1802/0, and 1831 (I still contend it is PROOF only and shouldn't be included).
Well, thanks to Shawn Yancey, we have a nice (from the pics and his description) 1794 coming. Freshly PCGS graded.
Here is Shawn's photo of the coin I have coming....

That was on my want list as well, glad you got it.
PCGS Registries
Box of 20
SeaEagleCoins: 11/14/54-4/5/12. Miss you Larry!
<< <i>Nice one. Congrats. Gonna go for the other head type? >>
Not at the moment. Like with Morgans and some other series I have done, I go for the date set first, maybe date + MM, then maybe some varities that interest me.
So, if I do go for it, it will be after I fill things out. Needing the 1797 and 1802/0 (realistically the only other ones I will fill in the near future), will eat enough funds...to get nice ones.

Greg
TrueView , Todd, or one of our great photographers on the forum in order here????
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.
<< <i>I just spent awhile looking at your half cent collection. Very impressive! >>
Thanks John.
I apologize for the old pics and not having pics for all of them. I haven't put the camera to the stand in quite awhile as too many things have been going on.
I appreciate the comments.

I knew it would happen.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
<< <i>Nice even wear, good color and a great choice, Ron! Good copper can't be beat. Shawn is a good dealer. Where is your set shown?
It's here
Like I said...apologies that not all are photo'ed.....I hope to "fix" that soon.
