Hi, found this at a local pawn shop and sent it in to NGC for grading and it came back AU55. I can't find much about it on line and hope someone can provide more details (i.e., mintage, value, etc..). Thanks for the help.

    Can't help with the mintage, but figure the coin is worth $700-800.

    So ... did you earn a You Suck award? In other words, did you pay way less than the $700-800 valuation?

    These kinds of threads are the reason I occasionally wander into my local pawn shops. Unfortunately, I never find anything worth the gas I spent driving there ...

    I checked the prices on ebay for sold listings for other 8 Reales (other years) and knew it had to be worth something, so I offered $400. The pawn shop owner accepted it the offer!
