Yep and I find the horribly struck Coins of the series strangely appealing. 77 marked the high water mark for P mintage coins and they experimented with the die gap/tonnage variations in an attempt to prolong the die life. They have a 19th Cen early mechanical crudeness that is absent in later coinage and I personally don't see it as a distraction, not all artwork has to be perfect.

Part of the reason for the hub changes that came midway through the series was due to strike difficulties as on type 1/1. The Obv & Rev high points (Lib's boob & eagle's right leg) were directly lined up on their respective sides causing metal flow issues.

I will go 63 just because the luster isn't the typical dulled out luster one finds with coins not recently dipped.

There are some well struck 77P's out there, but they are rare birds indeed. The DDO typically comes with better strike than average.
