Here's a nice Jefferson, golden toned and extremely well struck on both sides. Trueview captured it pretty well but the hair details, which are fully struck, are actually better in person. Nice steps too, that little nick kept this one from MS67FS.

Too bad about that nic on the steps.
Hoard the keys.
<< <i>Beautiful coin! Very clean, attractive color, and appears highly lustrous from the TrueView.

Check out the wide rim on the obverse, indicative of an early die.

Does this also relate to other coins? The more square a rim is usually equates to a hammered strike?

+1
<< <i>Very pretty coin on both sides. It makes me wonder how the nick got on the steps and still make this grade. >>
An MS67 coin is not perfect, and with photos this size very small marks look huge, nice nickel.

Great coin...Jeff nickels don't get much nicer than this one.
edited to add: sorry for the multiple posts....endured a CU Forum "reply function" was in glitchdom.
<< <i>I'm not obsessed with Full Steps like many are so the fact that it didn't get the FS designation means nothing to me. To me, your coin simply looks like a fantastic Jefferson Nickel, one you should be very proud to own. >>
