Does anyone have a recommendation on another photo sharing site?

Aargh, I'm ready to give up on photobuckets attempt at improvement. Any luck with other sharing sites???

Get your own domain and host them yourself, you control size and quality.

Google Picasa. Plenty of storage. Works well with PC or Mac. Easy linking of images at different resolutions without having to store multiple images. Good speed. And I think Google will be around for a while. And I just learned how to do circular cropping with Picasa.

  • I use Fotki, it's a small fee every year, but it is solid and very easy to link to face book, here, and uploading is a cinch!

  • I have just started an account with PB recently and have had some success but also have had weird problems. If I crop a picture it does that but then if I resize the cropped picture it comes back as the original uncropped! Then I am uploading into a certain named area and check to make sure that is where they are going each time but then they go into the general library and I have to move them all again. More strange happenings too and I was just getting to know what I was doing. Aaargh!

Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.

I use the PCGS registry for my PCGS-graded coins, which are almost all of them and Google Picasa for non-coin related stuff.

    Yup image

I've been doing that lately and am pretty happy with it. Once you get the hang of how to upload files to your own domain, it's much better than relying on someone else to host.

If Photobucket SOON allows me to sort my coin pictures by FILE name, I will stick with Photobucket. If it drags on for this promised upcoming sorting by file name option, I will leave Photobucket.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

I wouldn't use the PB editing tools unless it is your only option. Better to finish the image locally with your editor and then do the upload.

The new system requires you to select the upload destination before you do anything else. Doesn't matter what directory you're viewing. If you ask for an upload you HAVE to specify the destination first. Then drag your images.

If you can't find your images after an upload you weren't paying attention.

And I thought it was just me. Cropping & resizing are a total pain on PB.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
