The 1803 and 1805 bust halves are scarcer than one would think. The problem is that not too many people collect date sets of the early date bust halves-Most collectors just want a type coin and will settle for a commoner dated coin. This always was the case for these and probably always will be.

The Draped Bust designs are my favorite renditions of Liberty, at least for US issues. Never again did she look so pretty, in my opinion, though she comes close on maybe the SLQs and the Saints.

Great date, not the usually seen 06s'.
1805's are moderately under appreciated, but they generally do command a slightly stronger price than 1806's and 1807's at the same grade/eye-appeal level
