any premium on a 2009 in MS 70?

It's worth over melt, but not a big premium. Perhaps retail for spot +$150.

Yes, it's worth less than melt.

It's a gold buffalo. They cost about 2 grand at the mint. They're worth more today than they were in 2009, but not as much as yesterday

A lot of value is "Built in, at the point of sale". So , in essence, it depends.

That's what I assumed by "Early Releases". PCGS does First Strike. NGC, Early Releases.

This one was not sold by the Mint directly - the Proof was, but this is the Mint State/Business Strike issue.
