Dansco 7070 Album still being updated?

In a preliminary search regarding the Dansco 7070 album I have seen references from it not being made anymore to it being on hold until an updated version comes out. Also some suggestions that the company has downsized and/or is being operated part time, if at all. I'm sure a more exhaustive search would have provided better answers, but anyone here happen to know the current status and whether waiting for an updated album is a viable option to just picking one up second hand?

This topic came up recently, perhaps in the last three months, and the consensus opinion was the best bet was to try to buy a second hand album.

Thanks. Has anyone tried to make an album patterned after the 7070 that has sleeves which would hold slabs instead of holes?

Not that I am aware of, but it sounds like a winner. Maybe PCGS should do it, and tie it into the registry AND, of course, only PCGS slabs would fit.

Any updates on this? Fruitless search for a 7070 today. Literally every place I checked was out of stock.

Pick it up lightly used on ebay.

the "updated" one will undoubtedly be full of holes for crappy modern junk minted since 2005
