My 11 year old and I were searching through cent rolls tonight and he found a 1912s in G4 condidition. He just went to bed with a smile on his face.

Brings back fond memories of when I was 11. I started in '76, at the age of 10-1/2.
Finding Wheats in change was easier for me then, and I remember finding a G4 1912, but mine didn't have an "S" mintmark!
Sounds like this lad has a bright future as a cherrypicker!
PS- I have an 11-year-old in the house, too, but mine's a daughter.
She has a pretty nice collection I've been building for her since 2001 when she came aboard, but isn't terribly interested. They're mine to collect and play with until she comes of age, then they'll be sold and the money will go towards college or wedding or first car or something like that.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words. He found several other early wheaties so I am sure he will be searching through rolls again today.
