2013-S ATB Quarter rolls & bags available Jan. 28

According to the Mint's product schedule, the first of the 2013 ATB quarter rolls and bags (White Mountain) will be available beginning tomorrow, January 28. Prices for 2-roll sets and 100-coin bags are unchanged from last year at $32.95 for the two-roll PD set, $18.95 for the single S roll, and $34.95 for a 100-coin bag from any of the three mints.
However, a new offering may change this year's purchasing patterns compared to 2012: A 3-roll PDS set will now be available at $46.95.
This is only $14 more than the two-roll PD set, so it will likely be a popular item, increasing overall sales of ATB quarters for all three mints despite cannibalizing sales of the both the 2-roll set and the single S roll.
Because of their low mintages (1.7 million for El Yunque and 1.4 million for the other designs), all 2012-S circulation strike quarters are already selling at substantial premiums to their original prices from the Mint. I think this is likely to boost demand for the 2013 and later "S" quarters, resulting in higher mintages. If so, the 2012-S quarters could easily become the keys of the entire ATB series.
