Some more halves for the collection:
1870-S PCGS XF-40
1809 III Edge PCGS XF-45. This has a 'pewter' look which I really like.
1835 PCGS AU-53, CAC Gold. This one is very nice looking in hand, Luster swirls around the edges

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Nice pickups.

Question, does that 1835 get the gold only for technical grade and not a nudge at all for it's toning?

Just its technical grade. Though I'm a bit surprised it got a bean at all since the toning doesn't appear original IMO and CAC generally also attests to original surfaces....except in cases of 'properly' dipped white coins which they'll happily bean all day. But it's a beautiful piece for sure!
