i had intended in only buying US large cents today, but came across a dealer with some german states coins i needed. i really like the wolfenbuttel pieces.
I've seen the occasional wildman coins posted here and I do not know anything about them except they seem to be German-centric. Anyone have a link they could post or offer a brief (for your sake, I'll take all of the info I can get) explanation?
Sharp coins. The horse on the second coin reminds me of a horse on a 1837 medal I have of Victoria from Britain with the legend "To Hanover" as a protest to her German familial ties.

<< <i>Excellent look to it. Interesting I was thinking of getting one Wildman myself. >>
Zohar, you mean you don't already have a Wildman or three lyin' around?

I thought Zohar used the more common talers as paperweights and doorstops around his place. Maybe I am mistaken......
