New Batch of Commem Newps

Just got photos back from Messydesk on my new batch of new commems. Some you've seen me post, some you haven't. I've been acquiring this batch over the last three months and finally got around to getting them all photo'd by Messy.

Grades should be on the images.

Here are my quick notes on them.

Monroe and Vancouver - both have very flashy luster and light color, pretty color. Both picked up from Broadstruck
Elgin - original toning on the obverse with underlying luster. Very much fits in with a good portion of my group. Reverse is blast white and super frosty. From Broadstruck
Boone - pretty, light peripheral toning. Very pleasing to the eye. Picked up from Full Eagle Rare Coins
Long Island - tab toned with very pretty blues and reds and purples. May be a bit dark for some, but I think it is wonderful. Picked up from Mark Feld
Norse ( 64+) - Just an awesome look. Picked up from HLRC
Lexington - A coin that you have to see in hand to appreciate as the toning and luster combine to make the coin glow in hand. From Broadstruck
Pilgrim - Great strike, great luster, very pretty, vibrant peripheral toning. Picked up from NFC coins.
Bridgeport - Flashy with peripheral reds and pinks. Pretty coin. Picked up from Ebay.
Iowa - Original, golds and greens. Picked it up from Shane (kyrptonitecomics) raw on Ebay.

As always, and all opinions and thoughts/feedback is always welcome.

That Bridgeport is really outstanding. They don't typically come with that look.

The Bridgeport is nice, but I think my favorite is the Vancouver, followed by the Norse. The toning on the Norse makes it look tough like a Viking should. image

Nice group of commems. The Bridgeport is quite attractive, so is the Norse.

I love the Pilgram, Norse, and Bridgeport. I don't care for the Monroe due to the two reed marks on the cheek.

I like the Norse and the Pilgrim, but I don't think I've ever seen a Pilgrim I didn't like.

I have found it very difficult to find a Lexington with attractive toning. The toning usually found on these issues is plain and blah looking. Yours is exceptional. Congratulations.

Thanks for all the feedback. I appreciate it. It's always fun to see what other peoples likes and dislikes are. Everyone has unique tastes and with a diverse group of coins it's fun to see what appeals to each individual, or for that matter doesn't appeal.

Beautiful LI and Norse, and the whole collection is attractive and interesting as a result of the distinctive toning on each coin.
