Anyone know a good place to sell 40% and 90% silver in San Diego?

I have a local guy that only only pays $2 for 40% half and $4 for 90% half. I think that is very low. What do you think is a fair price?

I don't know anyone in SD but let's just say that if you give up, I'd be willing to pay double what that local guy is paying.

And I bet you there are tons of people on the BST willing to pay even more than that.

Write it on your T-shirt, include a mobile number and then walk around local gun shows.

I only have like 20 coins but that still seem low.

I called another place and they are slightly higher, 5 x face for 40% and 10-11x face for 90%.

I finally found someone who are at least more resonable, $3.75 ea for 40% half and $11 for the 90% half.

Escondido Coin and Loan on Grand Ave. I've been selling my bullion (Au, Ag and Pt) to him for years and have always felt I got a fair deal. Give Jim a call - it can't hurt.

That's probably fair value. According to http://www.coinflation.com/ your 40% halves contain $4.78 in metal value and your 90% halves contain $11.69 in metal value.

I was looking at coinflation.com yesterday also and after I heard the $2 and $4 offer I almost fell off my chair in Chula Vista.:-)

If you don't mind a drive, Sun City Coin pays fast and fair. Randy is a member here under TopDollarPaid. Its about 70 miles from San Diego off the I-215 Freeway in Sun City. He has a bunch of knock-off competitors close by, so make sure you get the right store.

Thanks, if I have a large amount then I would make the drive depending on price but for like 20 coins gas would be more.image
