She's not much to look at..... (1829 Half Dime)
 of 4-17-04 004.jpg)
This little Half Dime migrated west from New Hampshire this week, and graded G-6 by our host, certainly has seen better days. Though I doubt I would look any better at 184...
Searching for R-6, R-7 and R-8 coins, you take what you find and hope to upgrade when the opportunity presents itself.
In the world of Capped Bust Half Dimes 92 different marriages are known (plus an additional 31 re-marriages).
This diminutive jewel is number 91, only 1 more to go and it's a tough one. I'll be searching high and low for the elusive R-8 1835 LM-12.

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

I know the feeling of being SOOO close to that 1 or 2 elusive and extremely rare die marriages!
nice newp!
.
Looking at the coin just as a coin, with my non-specialized eye, it's well worn but solid and not distracting, with original looking color.
If it also happens to be a rare enough die marriage to make the hearts of specialist geeks get all fluttery, then great.
What's not to like?
Nice little Bustie...congrats
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Oh, she's quite beautiful if you know what you are looking at.
