Here is that Special Morgan I had mentioned I picked up at FUN in my FUN show report... For no other reason then knowing I love the things the owner and class act gentleman let it go for my collection... Todd`s pics are awesome, however it is one of those coins that has to be seen to fully appreciate... I posted two different views of it with the second one in direct light... Hope youssss enjoy as it goes into my collection as one of my top Morgans...

Thank you guys/gals... Meltdown the cheek is very clean... Overall the entire coin is very clean and so very close to the next grade... There is a disturbance in the toning at the base of the hair... Not really chatter... On the rev. off the point of the arrows there is a touch of chatter... With that said you really have to look for it as viewing this thing is breathtaking...
A notable thing besides the great color is on the dramatic pull away or shadowing effect on both the obverse and something I haven`t seen before is the dramatic effect of pull away off the lettering on the rev... Also that Eagle is one frosty looking bird...

That is one fantastic Morgan toner.

Love the look of the prooflike reverse as much as the colorful obverse.

More thanks everyone...

This one doesn`t matter if it`s just hanging out flat on a desk the colors leap off as if it is illuminated within...A very lustrous look it has Wabbit.... This is one of the finest pieces I have come across and the surfaces are 100% brilliant....

The previous owner acquired this piece when the Sonnier collection first came on the market...
