Yeah......I've seen the site and it would be no problem to just copy what he done but I'm looking for something a bit older. I could Ho the mahogany and brass route too
I've seen coins that have sat in the bottom drawer of a cheap pine dresser for over 60 years, with no issue whatsoever. I don't think wood does as much harm to coins as you would think. I've never once have seen a coin damaged by wood, and I personally dismiss the entire idea as a myth.

I'd look into Chestnut off-gassing and if it might negatively affect your coppers. Mahogany is used for that reason. Since they may be blacksmith tokens you could just hollow out some old anvil's and line with felt.
E-Sylum has a bunch of articles on these in their archives. This one is awesome. Probably cost more than the coins inside it. Here are more
