Mint remaindering 2011 five-ounce silver hockey pucks

Coin World Online is reporting that the Mint is offering unsold leftovers of the three 2011 issues that did not sell out to distributors at 2.4% over melt instead of the usual 3.0%.

    I believe is should be $2.40 @ oz over melt & not 2.4%...I could be wrong though.

    Thank you I may have misread it. All I know for sure is that the premium is being cut by 20%, from 3.0 whatevers to 2.4 whatevers.

    affects two bullion 2011 mint products only available to authorized bullion purchasers who resell to public:

    $50 gold eagle reduced from 3% to 2.4% over spot
    three different 5 oz. ATBs reduced from $9.75 per coin over spot to $8 per coin over spot (5 X spot + $8 per coin)

    undisclosed quantities available, doubt the discount will get passed on.
