a few months ago, usmoneylover told me about a coin that he and a coin business partner found and were going to get graded...it was one I had been looking for for many years. I ran into usmoneylover at the FUN show about an hour into the start of the show. He told me that the coin had graded at PCGS as AU55 and was at the show. I got the table number and headed right over, checkbook in hand. I saw the coin and was quite excited about the prospect of owning it. The 1829 LM-12 die marriage is an R6 half dime. My set piece has been an artificially toned (and who knows what's under that color?) XF details coin that I have searched and searched for an upgrade with no luck. No haggling on the price, here's the coin I bought, a PCGS AU55 that will place it third in the condition census (photos by Todd, coin is at PCGS for attribution on the label):
