My Completed Page 5 of a Dansco 7070..... Sort of .....

Slabbed coins have so many advantages over raw that for me, it's basically impractical to consider cracking them out just to put them in an album. Still, albums do have a certain allure that slabs just don't. Maybe it's the ability to see an entire set of coins in one little spot.

I love the 7070s that people have posted here. For whatever reason, they've become a de facto standard way to collect and display a type collection.

So, I thought it might be fun to buy an album, photograph it, and Photoshop the coins into their proper positions. It's cheating, a little, but it's a fun way to see the coins. I do with they'd have made a spot for the $3 gold and the type-2 gold dollar, but, nothing is perfect:

If we get too many more blizzards here I might start on pages 1-4. It's going to be a few years before they'll be full though.
