FUN Fun Run Report - Surprisingly Coin Related

Arrived at the hotel from airport about 7pm. Meter says $38, I give the guy $45. Then he runs after me in the lobby and says it was $48, because of "tolls." Did I just get taken?
Anyway, I get ready to go running. RYK was gonna come, but he got out of dodge early, supposedly due to kid scheduling but more likely he did not want to face off against the mighty Coinosaurus. (I talk mere smack, Coinosaurus has not run marathon while RYK runs marathon faster than Sarah Palin - which, if you know your politicians and your runners is quite the compliment).
Ran into a couple runners quickly and asked if there were any good running paths. Of course not, the setup here is convention center, hotels, restaurants. Think Chicagomont or Vegas. I ran with them a bit, hopefully did not creep them out. Wanted to find out if they were coin show junkies, so asked if they were here for the FUN show. Indeed there were! A shoutout to the two dealers at StampIt (whatever that is, I'll find out tomorrow). They recommended running around the convention center, which, to give you an idea of the size of the place, is a 1.5 mile run. Broke off from them and told them I would stop by tomorrow.
On the backside of the convention center, where there is no traffic, some security vehicle stops in front of me (runners always run against traffic, so they can get a good look at the guy who ran them over), blocks the road and then sits there. Yes, Mr. Security dude, runners are the ultimate threat. My hotel key card and running watch are just the tools to get on the bourse floor and steal all those goodies. I am gonna head over to Pistareen's table tomorrow, and show him what I got, and he's gonna say, I thought that was a unique piece, I have the other one right over here.....oh s***, where did it go??? I run around vehicle and he just stays there with lights off. Wierd.
3 laps and change around the convention center, then back to hotel lobby where I expected to find some coin people hanging around, but did not recognize anyone. Time to find some food and then it is iff the LSCC meeting at 9am tomorrow.
