i'm not touching the are there diagnostics to attribute proofs. one of the touchiest subjects in numismatics, especially 19th century coins.

let me rephrase. there may be some instances where diagnostics help to determine a proof vs business strike but they are only 1 part of the equation that requires 3 parts.
