Lets see your Ted Williams "Stuff"

I am sitting here watching the snow coming down and wishing I could be sitting and watching some baseballs flying through the air right now. I think I have an early case of spring fever so I figured why not ask everyone to drag out their Teddy Ballgame stuff. I will start it out.

I remember in the early 90's, reading in SCD how John-Henry Williams stated that a large majority of his father's autographs in the hobby were fake and he offered to authenticate any autographs if copies were sent to his home address. John-Henry was pretty much known to be a turd in hobby circles and was known to go through a show floor and demand dealers remove items in which he felt were non-authentic autographs of his father. I made a copy of the autograph I got in the mid 80's from Don Steinback's Sports Collectors Store in LaGrange, Illinois and sent it off to John-Henry. I actually forgot I sent this off and a year later I received a response. I was quite pleased as I dont think I payed more than 10 bucks for the auto and I continue to enjoy it to this day.
