Care to elaborate? Or is this just some kind of "inside joke"...

    What is a "hammered strike"?

Appears to have been struck with a hammer or mallet of sorts.

Normally, a "hammered strike" is the ne plus ultra of full strikes. This, on the other hand, was bludgeoned with a tack hammer.

Real, true, serious collectors know what that is! image My entire collection/website is dedicated to EDS, fully imprinted, ultimate coins.

On another note..........did anyone else receive Fruit of the Loom underwear for Christmass? I swear they feel like women's underwear!
I'm not really too thrilled about it. imageimageimage

Oh, as for the topic, the damage does look original..........happened a long long time ago.

No... not so much being off topic, nor even you wear women's underwear, but rather the disgusting emoticon.

Silky smooth women's underwear are a real treat!
I always enjoy running out of my own so I can secretly wear a pair of my wife's.
(Sure, I stretch them out... but that's the cost of comfort.)

I also learned earlier today that it's the dye or food colors added to foods that leaves stains in my underwear.
