First try with new set up (Coin Pictures) Thanks Ray
I just wanted to publically thank Ray (rmpsrpms) for helping me to get set up taking pictures of my coins. He sold me a nice camera stand and spent a lot of time helping me with what I needed.
This is the first day results.
I know I still need to work on the quality, but so far I am happy with the results.

a lens won't get you to this level. (it may but it would be an expensive one and take much more work) this is a whole other level of psychotics !
he talks about it here
it is a lot of work to get uber-clear images and requires extra equip, time and practice.
