    There are some mega-coins up for sale next month, that may or may not be a start.

    Consumer confidence is rising, which will kick into the collector coin market at some point.

    On the flip side, Congress seems at an impasse, which will be negative for gold if they can't get a deal done.

    Don't see the services changing any collector fundamentals. The last couple "big ones" have been evolutionary not revolutionary.

    Of course there is always the possibility that some unknown monster collection, or recently discovered rarities, will come out of the woodwork. I think that is the most probable way that something "astounding" happens.

    If the latter, then that's cool.
    If the former, one gets tired of that after awhile....at least, I do.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    The world wide web probably helped just a tad, and it would be prudent to put credit where it's due, too. On the shoulders of the giants who continue to hold the candle of integrity in this business. ( I almost hate putting that word 'business' into the thread, sir.. because it's really a hobby and a simple one to me ). Ah, but it is what it is,

    OK, I'll bite. My three best guesses.

    1. There will be a "new" major grading service.
    2. The Smithsonian or the Pogues will begin selling off coins. I would prefer the latter.
    3. You will begin collecting premium toned coins, circ cameo's, FH quarters, or FB Merc's.
