+ he is always getting in the middle of some nice and flippable Mint Offering, just like Florida Bill.
He's the Man, in my book.
I think one of his best scores (and he may disagree) was getting shipped from the US Mint Case #1 of 1,000 Cases of the (50) units/case George Washington First Day Coin Covers issue when that offering was bought up big on the Board.
Casman flipped that case for a 'mint' pardon the pun. Believe it or not I bought it a couple years later, still solidly sealed and flipped it as well. I do regret that....nahaa...no I don't really ;> I think the a small cadre of PCGS Board members (me included) hoarded up nearly 2/3's of that 50,000 unit issue. I still have 300-400 units filled with wonderful Mint errors that are tucked away.
The US Mint instituted limits after that one that are in effect across many Mint issues today, way beyond the FDCC's.
Sorry to digress!
Casman sure is a great guy!
