It looks like the typical toning when the coin is stored in the capsule with the black foam ring.

I will let you know soon

Thanks guys......I think it might score a MS69 which are very difficult to do with the toned ASE's.

I only have a few(maybe 2)

That ability IS useful....but with this particular scan, you can just see that this coin would look like Steph's REAL images. I looked at it just once, and saw the blue, gold...that scan just screams 'I'm a WOW toned ASE!'. Steph was taking NO chances, as Steph KNEW what it would look like in hand, didn't you, Steph!!!!

I wondered until I saw it in hand if it was AT.
Yes, I saw the toning but as the other ASE
was not sure it was real toning until it got in
my hot little hands

Hmmm....I use Air-Tite brand capsules with the black foam gasket to seal my entire collection of buillion SAEs. Been storing them that way for 14 years. I have NO milk spots, and absolutely NO toning whatsoever. These coins are, for all intents and purposes, the same condition they were in the day I acquired them.

So, my question for you: Are these toners in the black-foam-ring capsules Air-Tite brand or another?

You know, I had my SAE's in these types of airtights for years and not a single one toned like your coin Stef.
I'm not saying its right or wrong, I;m only saying that my personal experience with SAE's and these capsules with the black ring was not the same as the coin you purchased.

It's a beautifully toned coin. Question is, is it Market Acceptable? I don't think anyone here would deny that it was "made". Whether through "super-natural" care & storage processes or via "artificial" methods.

At the end of the day I love the colors and Stephs photos. Good job!
