Are there any dealers that specialize in Modern coins?

Lets say I had a bulk lot of modern stuff that I wanted to sell.

edit to clarify my use of modern as graded/slabbed cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves and dollars 1955-1989 business, sms and proof coins

Who are the buyers?

It really depends a lot what the "modern stuff" is. I would say the same about "classic stuff".

Depends on what they are and in what grade. A top pop, ebay might give u more bang for your buck. I know i buy most my moderns on there.

I do... (thank you Guirarwes). Across the board ... from precious metal coins to business strike moderns (1965-date). But. if you especially have any pop top quarters from 1965-date including all varieties, I would love to hear about them (collector to collector). I've got this "sick" project going where I am building this 500++ business strike set of PCGS Washington quarters (1932-date) with all varieties (other than every single MN tree coin ... I am fine with just a handful of those select MN tree varieties right now as I have my "hands too full" already).

Appreciate the plug, but reality is we moved away from most of the material described a few years back and when we get it by chance will generally sell it on eBay for the most part. These days its 99% "ultra moderns", bullion, and world coins.

Unless it's material that Mitch would buy, I'd suggest eBay, GC, or TT.

I should follow your lead ... you are right where "the action is".
