VAM Number on Inserts
I submitted a 1880/9 S Morgan Silver dollar under the number for the overdate coin. Is there any benefit to getting VAM-11 put on the label? Thanks in advance

Huh? Unless competing in the PCGS Registry, the VAM number is worth very little extra and an unecessary expense on the holder. The RedBook designation is quite clear in its connotation of 1880/9-S.

Here is the issue on VAM on the red book recognized slabs.
Example 1882-O/S has 3 major VAM numbers.
For your year and mint, there are 6 Varieties.
Unless your coin is a Top Pop type coin, selling it will be easier with the proper VAM number listed.
