Quick question about Indian Proof Cameo on the bay
I came across this bronze indian proof on bay. It is designated as cameo, but does not have a color indicated. Since it is cameo, are we to assume it is red? I have not seen a cameo proof designated as cameo on the holder but not red (for the bronze, not copper-nickels). Is this an old way that PCGS graded indian proofs, then later added the red with the cameo designation? Thanks,

Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Edit to add: Is the font correct? That a wide looking zero? It looks a funny slab? The coin looks "adjusted" in the photo. Like I said - I am beat.
And a little bit better image

<< <i>To answer your question, PCGS will only attribute cameo designations to red coins. NGC, on the other hand, will provide color designations (including RB and BN) as marked and a cameo designation. >>
Correct. I have had a couple without the RD designation on the label, but they must be red to qualify for the CAM.
