Question for those who ship internationally on a regular basis
I rarely ship to other than the US, but have an interested party in Belgium. It appears 1st class is about $5, and priority is about $16. Is there any insurance avavilable, or just the registered option, which seems to apply only while it is in the US? Also, what other concerns are there (other than legitimacy, of course)? Thanks, Mark

What is the buyer's buying history?
Has he bought other coins from the US ?
What is the coin?
Can you ever sell it in the U.S. ?
How do you feel about Belgium?
How much can you afford to loose?
Weigh all these factors and go with you guts.
<< <i>Paypal/ebay shipping now has first class international with tracking. I use it and it works great. >>
Tracking on first class international is spotty within the US (recently it's gotten about as good a delivery confirmation is for a domestic package up until customs) but there's no tracking at all once it's out of the country. The answer to this question depends on the value of the item, but I will say that the Belgian Post Office tends to be pretty good. The ones in Europe where you really have to be careful are Italy, Germany, and Russia.
