eBay seller of counterfeit items
Well .. I don't usually say much here. I just read a lot .. I believe this guy is selling counterfeit coins and gold bars. I was searching 01-S Quarters when I saw he had sold one with XF details for under $2k. Of course that sent red flags and ran through his feedback and saw all the knock offs he has been selling
Currently he has multiple listings for 20 1g gold bars sealed in plastic. Now of course I have no way of knowing for certain, but based on his history and based on the fact these exact gold bars have been recently publicized as being those that have been copied, I would go on a thin limb and say it's all junk. And people are being duped. So what to do... Report him without evidence? Shameful this kind of thing goes on and is completely ignored. What a scam.
Link to his items for sale. If you come too late, you will have to search his completed listings and recent FB. If I am out of line here, just kindly tell me and I will happily remove the post (edit it down to nothing).
Thank you all for reading

good find SAM5969!
ok i'm going to say it. i think they are all bad and he's been taking ebay buyers, paypal and ebay for a ride. wow
.
Those 1g gold bars in sealed plastic with denominations of 5, 10, 15 and 20 per bag are extremely suspicious. Does he really think "sealed in plastic" conveys confidence for the buyer? All it means to me is a smokescreen to the naive buyer. The Pamp Suisse writing looks like the same font you see on the Chinese knockoff coins. Clearly a farce if you ask me.
Everything about him and his operation stinks including his recently purchased items from the same account.
He should be closed down
I don't like coincidences like this; I think they're fakes in problem coin clothing.
left a nuetral ?
<< <i>Isn't it odd that all of his dollars have the same "look" -- high AU, whizzed/cleaned/polished like crazy?

the feedback has buyers stating "counterfeit" from negatives AND positives. shill/multiple accounts, who knows?.
.
And we have very little we can do? He should be arrested. This should be reported to the FEDs - ebay does very little to police the exchange properly. We can report him and they close the account down?
It says he is from CA. on the item location . .. If true, the FEDs should get involved and arrest him
<< <i>Exactly .. You all mention just a fraction of the red flags that are obvious to all of us.

<< <i>Someone bought a fake 1870CC dollar and only

I can't believe anyone would bid that much for an auction with that photo. Then again...
<< <i>How about his 1855 Dollar Gem BU? >>
spaghetti date, 100% counterfeit.
.
I did this awhile ago with some buyers of fake CC dollars. The seller was from the UK and all the buyers, but a few, contacted me after with many thanks that they were saved hundreds of dollars.

i would post more about the inner workings, but i think i may open myself and possibly others to unnecessary risk.
for those with good insight and experience, i've provided more than enough to determine exactly what has happened.
